| Le valvole Swing Check sono valvole a flusso unidirezionale e sono utilizzate con diversi fluidi di processo. Le valvole Swing Check funzionano automaticamente: non richiedono un controllo esterno o un operatore. Per questo motivo, queste valvole non hanno un volantino. Le valvole Swing Check possono essere utilizzate quando è richiesto un passaggio quasi totale del fluido, sebbene la portata non debba essere eccessivamente elevata. Il componente principale della valvola Swing Check è il disco Clapet che, chiudendosi automaticamente, consente l'interruzione del flusso e la chiusura della valvola. Se la pressione non è sufficiente, la valvola rimane chiusa; quando la pressione è sufficiente, la valvola si apre e il fluido è libero di passare. Le valvole a saracinesca sono comunemente realizzate in acciaio. I rivestimenti metallici (come la stellite) sulle parti di tenuta garantiscono un'elevata resistenza alla corrosione e all'usura. |
| Swing Check valves are unidirectional flow valves and are used with different process fluids. Swing Check valves work automatically: they do not require external control or an operator. For this reason, these valves do not have a handwheel. Swing Check valves can be used when an almost total passage of fluid is required, although the flow rate should not be excessively high. The main component of the Swing Check Valve is the Clapet Disc that, closing automatically, allows the interruption of the flow and the closure of the valve. If the pressure is not enough, the valve remains closed; when the pressure is enough, the valve opens and the fluid is free to pass. Gate valves are commonly made of steel. Metal coatings (such as stellite) on the sealing parts guarantee high resistance to corrosion and wear. |
